A wedding date can only be sold once, which is why this trade bills the way it does: a retainer that holds the date, and the balance before the day rather than after it. Nobody wants to be chasing a couple for money in the week they get back from a honeymoon.
The three tiers here are built on hours and photographers, because that is what a couple is really choosing between. Four hours with one photographer covers a ceremony and the formals. Eight hours with two covers the day as it is usually told, from preparation through to the first dance. Ten hours adds the album, the prints and the second shooter.
The edited image counts are stated as minimums rather than promises of a specific number, and delivery is given as a range of weeks. Both of those are deliberate. A guaranteed count encourages padding a gallery with near-duplicates, and a single promised date on a busy season is a complaint waiting to happen.

These terms cover the booking you approve on this page.
- The booking. The deposit shown on this page holds your date and is not refunded if you cancel, because the date is then held for you and turned away from others.
- Payment. The balance is paid before the edited images are delivered.
- What you receive. The hours of coverage and the number of edited images are those described above. Images are edited in my own style. Unedited or RAW files are not included.
- Use of the images. You may use the delivered images for the purpose described above. Commercial use beyond that, including advertising, is quoted separately. I keep copyright and the right to show the work in my portfolio, and will not do so if you ask me in writing not to.
- If plans change. Tell me as early as you can. A date can be moved once, subject to availability, and the deposit moves with it.
- If I cannot attend. If illness or an emergency prevents me attending, I will arrange a replacement photographer where I can, and if that is not possible everything you have paid is refunded.
- On the day. Safe access to the location and the time listed above are needed for the coverage quoted.

How it gets paid
Deposit, then balance
40% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.
Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.
Prices in the preview are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.
